Craniosacral Therapy (CST) - 60 Minutes
Service Description
‘Cranio’ refers to cranium, head and ‘sacral’ refers to the sacrum. Craniosacral therapy is a form of alternative therapy that uses gentle touch to palpate the rhythmic system at the core of our physiology – the pulse of energy generated due to the flow of craniosacral fluid (CSF) between our head and pelvic area. It's as essential, measurable, and tangible as our breath and heart rate. The Craniosacral system follows a rhythm, flow of the Craniosacral Fluid (CSF), and the bones of the entire body accommodate its pulse. What to expect during a session? The therapist uses gentle pressure techniques to assess the existence of possible disruptions and/or restrictions in your cranial fascial system. Light touch and fascial release may help your muscles and organs naturally relieve stress, which improves function. It is a fully clothed session. What conditions may craniosacral therapy (CST) help? - Chronic pain. - Fibromyalgia. - Migraine headache. - Complex regional pain syndrome. - Fascial adhesions. - Multiple sclerosis. - Neuralgia. - Neurodegenerative diseases. - Temporo-mandibular joint syndrome. - Stroke. - Post-concussion syndrome. - Speech impairment.
