Service Description
Fascia surrounds every muscle, tendon, ligament, bone, organ every cell of the body. Myofascial therapy combines sustained pressure on lesions to relax the tension in the tissues. Application of slow and subtle techniques with light to moderate traction over a broad area of muscle allows the ease of tension. The goal of myofascial therapy is to restore proper functioning of the structure through stretching and loosening the fascia. Myofascial Therapy may help with the following condition: - No or little flexibility or function following an injury - Chronic Pain: Back, Shoulder, Hip, etc - Virtually pain in any area containing soft tissue - Temporo-Mandibular Joint (TMJ) disorder, - Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. - Fibromyalgia. - Migraine Headaches. - Pre-post/ surgery that aims to control pain and keep muscles and joints warm and loose.
